Welcome To Tweety's World

This page is for all of  you who want to get to know me better.  Some of this may surprise you, and some of it may not.  Please feel free to look at everything on this page, I've tried to be as honest and forward as I can.  For those that know me well, you know I can't be any other way.  For those of you that don't, don't let it shock you.  If you look real hard, I've included a few pics of myself, the only ones acutually on the web, and of course lots of tweety pics.  Tweety is the greatest!!!!!!  If after all of this, you still can't find what you want to know, feel free to ask.........

My Kids:
I have two beautiful kids that I absolutely adore.  My daughter is 9 and suffers from ADHD.  There are some pretty wild stories about the things I've been through with her, but the best story is the first day she took her medication and she came home from school and told me how much she loved me for getting that medicine for her, because she felt so much better.  Nothing could have made me happier, it made all the tough time worth while.  My son is 8 and also has medical problems.  They are a little complicated to get into on here, but basically he is protien intolerant and hypoglycemic, and suffers from seizures.  He hasn't had a seizure in 4 years now, and his condition is controlled completely by diet.  Looking at him you would never know.  He is a very active normal 8 year old that loves all sports, and his mom.  Now if I could just get him to remember to take off his glasses (he wears bifocals) before playing football!

My Friends:
I value friends as something very special.  There was a time in my life when I left all my friends behind, and I had only myself to rely on.  I have found a new appreciation for the people that I call my friends.  There aren't many of them, but there isn't anything in the world I wouldn't do for them. Friendship is something more valuable than anything other than my kids to me.  It is something that I have learned the hard way not to take for granted. Thanks Connie for always being just a phone call away. Don't know what I'd do without you.

My Job:
I have recently had my dream job fall into my lap. The computer class that I was taking where I began designing this page, has opened a door for me that I will never forget. I am now working for Technvisions, where I am learning to design and maintain web sites. I am able to work at home and on the computer all day, which I absolutely love. The company is also paying for me to take several classes where I am learning more and more all the time. I have a passion for computers, and have dreamed of a job like this for as long as I can remember. I still keep asking my boss "Are you sure I'm getting paid for this?" It's like a dream come true, and I will be eternally grateful to him for this opportunity. So when you see I'm working, please be kind and "Do Not Disturb"!!!!!

My Past:
I am very open about my past.  I feel strongly that by being vocal about it, in some way I may be able to help somebody else in a similar situation.  I am a survivor of domestic violence and abuse.  I have to include the abuse part because a lot of the time I was assaulted with words rather than a fist.  I know a lot of women that have been through similar situations, and they don't want anybody to know.  I on the other hand want everybody to realize that I am a survivor, and I am a stronger person than even I ever knew I could be.  I have made many mistakes in my past and I look to the future, not to correct those mistakes, because they have made me who I am, but instead to never repeat them.  I value the people in my life, but I do not need them.  I need myself, and since I found me, I don't ever want to lose her again.

My Dreams:
If all our dreams could come true with the wave of a magic wand, we would never learn to appreciate the gifts God blesses us with.  It is always good to have a dream.  My dreams include nothing but happiness for my kids, a beautiful place for them to grow up, and true happiness in my life.  Yes, this includes love, but I know when the time is right, God will bless me with that too.  Most of my dreams require work on my part to make them happen, but I believe if I work to make them happen, God will take care of the rest for me.

My Hobbies:
Well I guess I should include something other than computers in here.  I do like to do more than just play on the computer.  I love to do CrossStich (a craft), and I have been working on doing more of that recently.  I like to play pool, bowl (although I haven't in quite a while), dance, write, read, cook (I'm actually very good), and I love movies.  I know these seem kinda general, but yes, there is more to me than the computer at my fingertips.

My Future:
I'm very confident that my future will be very different from my past.  I have learned to make decisions using my head more than my heart.  I've also learned to value an opinion that I never really listened to in the past. That is the opinion of my mother.  She and I have rarely seen eye to eye, but recently she has shown me how proud she is of the person I am now, and I consider her opinion, or think of what she will say with every little thing I do in my life.  It took a long time for me to realize that the little decisions we make that we believe aren't important, are the ones that can mess up our lives, and send us back to square one.  I hope in the future to continue to change my life for the better, and grow even closer to my mother whom I should have been close to all along.
